info on my services

My unobtrusive and discreet approach to wedding photography means that there is no set pattern to covering your day, i will capture moments just as they happen starting at the place where the bride is getting ready, to the first dance or untill the end of the chosen time coverage.

I prefer to shoot without posing the couple or guests to create more of a natural feel to the album. Also avoiding the use of Flash photography wherever possible means that my work has a certain quality that only available light gives.

Your wedding will be photographed only by me. I don’t use assistants as this hinders my chance of being in the background. You are paying for my expertise and over 22 years of experience.

I prefer to cover most of the wedding in Black and White using Colour for shots of the flowers, cake and formal shots. This combination tends to enhance the colour images in the album against the Black and White ones. If you have a particular preference for more colour images then this will be taken into consideration.

The amount of images in your album Depends on the coverage chosen. You can expect between 100-150 images from the 6 hour booking increasing to 200-250 images for the 12 hour booking.

If possible i will visit the venues beforehand, although with my style of work it is not always necessary

I will shoot family formals although i likes to keep them to a minimum. I don’t want to hinder your day, but record it as it happens and too many formal shots starts to slow everything down. About 6 formal shots and a few Portraits of the Bride and Groom tends to work well with the general flow of the album. This usually takes no more than 25 mins to complete which means that your day is not held up and everyone can enjoy themselves.

Using my experience and Design knowledge i prefer to Design the album for you so that you get a complete album without the hassle of after wedding meetings and proof albums. You get all of the pictures from the day, used at different sizes for impact. I do not hold any back (unless they do not contribute to the final flow of the album). This process means that you have no hard sell or extra charges for prints after your wedding. Receiving the album should be an event in itself not an arduos selection process!

I am based in both Suffolk and London, but will cover nationwide. Central London weddings are restricted to a minimum 8 hours coverage.Petrol charges of £00.40p per mile are added to Weddings taking place outside of the Suffolk border. Overnight accomodation is required (travelodge or similar) for Weddings further than 100 miles from Suffolk as Tim will be fresher on the day and will not be late! On all 8 hour and 12 hour bookings Tim request’s that a meal is provided.

Your album will be ready about 6-8 weeks after your wedding. This can be collected from Tim’s studio in London or delivered. Overseas delivery is available and can be quoted on

When meeting up to discuss your wedding photography I do not insist on a decision there and then. There is no hard sell approach. If you do decide on booking Tim then a non refundable deposit is required (£500.00) which will be taken off the final amount. The full amount is payable 2 weeks prior to the wedding. Even decisions on Album upgrades and length of coverage do not have to be decided on until closer to the date of marriage.

On top of 22 years commercial experience I also have an HND and PQE in photography and i don’t believe in being “an award winning Photographer”!!! I think that having a successful business for 22 years is enough!

Re-prints are available and are ordered from my on-line ordering section of this website. This takes away the hassle from the couple and means that Guests that have travelled from abroad or who could not attend can view all the images from the album and order any prints that they wish. The ordering process is all secure. You can also order DVD slideshows and Parent Albums.

I am also a full member of the WPJA (Wedding photojournalist Association). This is a very difficult Association to become a member of as they only accept Photographers whose style of work adheres to their strict rule of conduct and quality. They reject more applications than they accept! It is a fantastic recognition of the high quality of my work and also it gives The Bride and Groom confidence in the fact that their chosen photographer has proved their self in the area of photojournalistic or reportage Wedding photography. I am also the only Suffolk based Wedding Photographer accepted by them!

I use World Class Jorgenesn Albums which are hand made in Australia and flown over when ready. In my oppinion these are the best albums that compliment my high quality images and prints. There are different colour choices on the standard album or wood, metal, leather finnishes available on the upgrade options. Please see the album upgrade option from the price list

I am happy to meet and discuss my work at either my home in Suffolk or at my London Studio (on the edge of the city, Old Street). This can be during the week in London or at weekends at Suffolk.
